Challenge 2 brought home great results from our athletes most of them doing personal bests and season best. This augurs well for the rest of the season.
The top performance coming from the track surely was the 100m open where our Kurt Zahra won the race in a comfartable lead clocking a new personal best of 11.01s, putting him with the top ranked sprinters this season.
Another top perfomance this time coming from the field surely was the U20 National Record thrown by Luca Martini in the hammer throw with a distance of 55.08m, this confirms the strength of our team in the throwing events. Also notable performances done by Kyle Caruana in the hammer throw, discus and shot put where he threw a personal best in all 3 disciplines and reached the qualifying standard for the upcoming COJI Games.
