National Record – Sarah Chouhal

The Winter Championships are over and these brought a tally of 18 medals for our team.  The pinnacle of the day surely was the national record U16 done by Sarah Chouhal in the hammer throw.   Sarah managed to break the previous record by over 3mtrs managing to be the first U16 athlete throwing the hammer over 40m. Her final result was 40.07m.

Kimhari Charles – Silver in the 60m and silver in the long jump cadet

Jamie Darmanin Demajo – Silver in the 600m cadet

Josepha Marie Micallef – Silver in the 600m cadet

Kurt Zahra – Gold in the 60m and bronze in the shot put youth

Mariah Zahra – Gold in the shot put and silver in the hammer youth

Sarah Chouhal – Gold in the hammer youth

Kyle Caruana – Gold in the hammer youth

Gianluca Caruana – Gold in the javelin intermediate

Luca Martini- Gold in the discus and gold in the hammer intermediate

Krestien Micallef – Bronze in the 600m intermediate

Nicole Attard Glivau – Gold in the long jump junior

Sarah Busuttil – Silver in the 60m open

Antonella Chouhal – Gold in the hammer and discus open
