Challenge meeting 6

Great results to finish the last challenge meeting of the season. The biggest result came from Warren Zammit who obtained personal bests in the 100m and 200m. Our coach Rachid Chouhal also registered a season’s best in the 200m. Krestien Micallef showed his potential in the 400m with a great run.

In the U16 800m, our champion Josepha Micallef dominated the race from start to finish. In the Hammer throw, Sarah Chouhal threw a season’s best very close to her own national record. She also came 2nd in the 200m. The long jump was dominated by Kimahri Charles, jumping a new personal best over 5m. She also won the shot put followed by our other champion Mariah Zahra.

The boys’ U16 200m was a clean sweep for Rush AC where our boys kurt zahra, Beppe Grillo and Kyle Caruana took first 3 positions with style.Kyle also dominated the boys’ u16 shot put. In the 75m hurdles, U14 Kenzey Riolo came 2nd clocking a personal best. Other personal bests came from Shylaine Said in the 60m girls and long jump, Kareem Chouhal in the hammer throw and Damian Magro in the cubs’ 60m.
