Despite the inclement weather with force winds above the norm, our champions showed great tenacy during challenge meeting 4 and great results where brought home in both track and the field, confirming the versatility of the club and skills shown in running, jumping and throwing.

We had athletes achieving various personal bests and seasonal bests. Surely, the dominance in the throwing events was clear and our throwers threw great distances in the hammer, discus and shot put. The best throws surely came from youngsters Mariah Zahra U18 in the discus, throwing a personal best of 34.77m and in the shot put men U18 where Kyle Caruana threw a personal best almost hitting the 13m mark with a throw of 12.96m. In the jumps U16 Kimahri Charles won the long jump with a great leap.

On the track it was evident once again the dominance of our U18 star Kurt Zahra where despite the strong winds against, he confirmed once again his form. In the 400m we had a great run from Krestien Micallef clocking a season best of 51.80s .
